First off, I have to state what was done (and not done) on this program.
We did not do any enemas, which I just found hard to confront. We did
not do deep breathing exercises every day. The first week, in which we
should have done a liver flush, we did not. Instead we used that week
to get used to all of the other changes we had to make, and further felt
it wasn't TOO big an outness given that we had done a liver flush fairly
recently. We did not drink all of the water we should have, although we
did drink lots of potassium broth on the flushes.
We did do all of the following: pure raw fruits and vegetables, and small
amounts of nuts and seeds, water, tea and juices only, and a glass of
carrot/parsley/apple juice daily for the duration; a complete liver flush
and two kidney flushes; two weeks of blood detox. and two weeks of Echinacea/immune
system building; Formula 1 and 2; we began a running program; body work/foot
reflexology; body brushing; Superfood twice a day; fresh garlic (almost)
every day. We also did one cold sheet treatment each, and hot and cold
showers every day.
We fell off the wagon on the third weekend when we went to Disney World
and ate ice cream and weren't able to do the other things we should have,
but aside from that we really kept our ethics in. In fact, we had tentatively
thought of ending off the program after three weeks but found we really
didn't want to ...
On the first two flushes I felt fine but felt that I was moving slower
and didn't have much strength. I realized that I wasn't drinking enough
water, and on the last kidney flush we actually didn't eat for the full
five days and did fine. It was a real win for me to feel as though I was
breaking the habit of "having" to have at least two meals every
day. Further, I like the feeling of being slightly hungry - I think it
gives you an edge, which is much preferable to the usual lethargy caused
by eating more than you need to....
One very noticeable, very appreciated but unexpected win that I had was
the effect on my menstrual period: I had been having longer and more painful
ones than usual for the past two years, my last one lasting almost two
weeks, accompanied by very painful cramping. This last period started
two and a half weeks into the program, lasted 4 days and I had NO cramping!!
I couldn't believe it! I did have some somatics but they were minor and
nothing at all like I'd been experiencing....
Another change has been to do with my overall energy level. I used to
have to sleep until around 9:30 or 10:00 in order to get through the day.
Even then, sometimes I'd have to stop and lay down for a while in the
afternoon. I have been having a lot of trouble with fatigue for the past
4 years - about 3 years ago I was very sick and found out that my body
was just extremely toxic (mercury fillings, smoking cigarettes, living
in a very smoggy environment, poor diet for the past 10 years, no exercise
and lots of stress, severe constipation). Luckily I found a good clinical
kinesiologist who was able to correct a lot of things and saved my life,
I'm convinced. However, I didn't receive much hatting from her on how
to maintain my body, etc. Consequently, although we eat mostly organic
food and have quit smoking, I just never recovered much strength or energy.
About three weeks into this program I found myself waking up at 7:30 and
not wanting to go back to sleep again, and believe me - I tried! My energy
level stays pretty much constant too, with no ups and downs. This is a
huge win for me, and I'm very, very thankful.
A number of somatics have gone, including various aches and pains in
my back. My adrenals used to ache a lot, and now I seldom notice them
- if they do ache I can spot what I've done wrong and correct it.
I've lost some weight which I've been wanting to get rid of for years.
I'm still not at a weight I consider ideal, but at least I'm much closer
and I don't believe that I'll rollercoaster on it. I don't get hungry
like I used to, or cravings that I can't handle with some fruit or a glass
of juice.
A strange thing, but my skin feels better (!). Hard to describe, but
it feels healthier, better texture, less dry and ...well...just feels
better.
I've also had trouble almost my entire life with constipation. When I
was six I had TB, and was on heavy medications for at least two years,
perhaps more. After that point I had lots and lots of trouble with my
digestion and so on. In my twenties I discovered bran and psyllium husks
and took them faithfully, but dropped it out in my thirties.... As a result,
I was chronically constipated and also developed terrible hemorrhoids.
They were at times so bad that I would have a lot of trouble standing
and walking because of the pain. Some days it was a toss-up - try to have
a BM or try to get some work done. They also began bleeding last fall,
and would bleed heavily at the slightest provocation. I was in despair
at times of ever being able to function without having to deal with this
problem. I began taking Formula 1 and 2 some time ago, but it seemed hard
to find a balance between having enough BM's and not feeling as though
I'd been turned inside out. I've persevered, however, and now I feel as
though the problem has diminished about 90%, with lots of regular BM's
and very little discomfort.
I am continuing with most of these successful actions, including the
exercise and diet changes, and the hot and cold showers (which are great!).
In fact, I'm reading the Pro Vita! book and want to incorporate that diet
into our lives, since it makes such good sense to me and I think it will
provide some real gains for us all…. Also, I'd like to do kidney
or liver flushes monthly, if that's a good idea.
Personally, I found it easier to do the whole program (or at least most
of it) than to incorporate small changes one at a time into my life. But,
you know, it really wasn't SUCH a big deal! It took some organizing and
some attention, but it wasn't as difficult as I'd expected. Planning is
the key, and being really ready for change.
I've been able to rehab feelings that I had in my twenties when I was
very fit and healthy for a number of years. I've been taking something
of a loss over the past few years, feeling that I'd probably never feel
that way again. Now, and this is perhaps my biggest win, I'm beginning
to realize that I can reverse the cycle I was on and improve my health
and fitness to a point were I'm not some sad effect of my physical condition,
and that it doesn't have to take forever, either! That is a huge, huge
win.
Thanks for being there and making this tech available, Ron, and also
for making it so easy to do the programs by providing all the "ingredients"!
You are providing a huge service and doing a wonderful, wonderful job.

Area of issue: Kidney Stones, Pain
Solutions: Kidney Formulas, Tonic Supreme (formerly Super Tonic), Echinacea, iFlora
When I found Southern Botanicals, I was very apathetic in handling my kidney stones and kidney infection. I had been to MD's and given antibiotics which only helped temporarily. The kidney formulas along with the Super Tonic and Echinacea and Flora have finally relieved my pain! I was in constant pain for 3 months before! Thank-you ...
