Stevia is an ancient herb cherished by many cultures throughout history. It is easily used as a healthier substitute for sugar, whether in desserts or in a refreshing beverage. But more than that, it is good for you! A few drops daily can help you be well on your way to overall well-being and a guilt-free way to enjoy the sweeter things in life.
This is the only kind of Stevia I use, because I want the health benefits, more than sweetness. It is really sweet and a nice addition to some foods. But I put it in fruit smoothies and things that are already sweet because it balances blood sugar. I used to use it in the terribly sweet drinks my daughter was given at Girl Scout events. Just a few drops of this whole dark Stevia in the Hawaiian Punch and my daughter no longer bounced off the walls from the sugar! I don't feel blood sugar swings when I take this. - DER
I ordered a bottle of Stevia essence from Southern Botanicals. I can tell you at the moment 'so far so good'! - J. H. Somerset, United Kingdom.
I was very happy with the Stevia. This was the first time I had ever bought Stevia. I wanted to try it because I was having some health problems that I traced back to use of NutraSweet. Yes, my internist did every test in the book to try to find out why I had pitting edema in my legs, joint pains, forgetfulness, etc. 3 months off NutraSweet and all these problems were better or completely resolved.
At the time I purchased the Stevia from Southern Botanicals, I purchased a rival brand to try the two out. Yours was definitely the best of the two. I will be buying more from you in the future! - K.S. Flemingsburg, KY.
