Katie and Amina at Southern Botanicals share how their Intestinal Cleanse is going this week as part of the Total Internal Body Cleanse Program.
Katie: “When I started the Intestinal Cleanse part of the Total Internal Body Cleanse I planned on going all in with following the instructions to the letter and taking Intestinal Cleanse 2 at least three times a day.
So far I’ve been able to keep up with taking Intestinal Cleanse 2 once or twice a day on an empty stomach. I prefer the powder since it feels very refreshing and alkalizing to me.
Putting 1 teaspoon of Intestinal Cleanse 2 in a cup of water and quickly drinking it down has worked well for me so far.
One of my main challenges has been working in a third dose of Intestinal Cleanse 2 into my day.
At this point I’ve had to face reality that a light cleanse with taking Intestinal Cleanse 2 twice a day works best for me at this time.
It’s easy to get caught up in perfectionism when making a change.
When it’s all said and done though I’ve decided it’s better for me to adjust my cleanse to what works for me right now so I still receive some of the benefits from a light cleanse than stopping all together.
One of the main perks of doing the Intestinal Cleanse part of the Total Internal Body Cleanse is that my digestive system has improved.
When I’ve been consistent with taking Intestinal Cleanse 2 even once a day I’ve noticed that my energy levels are better and best of all, no gas and bloating.
I think my digestive system is still needing improvement from eating heavier, more processed foods over the holidays.
While I’m not in the clear yet, I’m looking forward to ongoing benefits as I start the Liver Cleanse phase of the program.”
Amina: “For the last couple of months I’ve been having a green smoothie in the morning, yogurt as a mid-morning snack, a light lunch like a salad and miso soup in the afternoon.
Evenings I’ve been eating heavier meals, sometimes healthy and sometimes not so healthy but I get full very quickly which can feel uncomfortable.
Since starting the Intestinal Cleanse I’ve had a better appetite and more room to eat.
Before I started the cleanse I would get full super easily and it felt like my stomach wasn’t completely emptying after I ate which made it uncomfortable to eat more than a little bit at a time.
I also had a lot of abdominal bloating and tightness in my stomach which was subsided since I started doing the Intestinal Cleanse.
I’ve now been doing the Intestinal Cleanse for 10 days using Intestinal Cleanse 2 capsules.
For the first 5 days I took 5-6 capsules of Intestinal Cleanse 2 3 times a day along with taking Intestinal Cleanse 1, Vital Nutrition Plus and miso as my probiotic.
After that I stepped it up with how much Intestinal Cleanse 2 I was taking to 10 capsules 2-3 times a day.
Then a couple of days ago I increased it again to 15 capsules 3 times a day.
At first when I started taking more Intestinal Cleanse 2 (30+ capsules a day) everything was lovely.
But when I took 45 capsules total a couple of days ago that was the first time during the cleanse I had a traffic jam so to speak in my colon.
In hindsight I realize that I didn’t drink enough water with each dose of Intestinal Cleanse 2 that day.
I continued to drink 16 oz of water with each dose when I should have drank 32 oz! Something else that affected it is that night I had a piece of pizza which is not a cleanse-friendly food.
Even though I took 10 Intestinal Cleanse 1 that night, it didn’t help get things moving for me the next day.
If this happened 2-3 weeks ago it might have aggravated my IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) and caused constipation which would have been so painful I wouldn’t have wanted to walk and I might have been late for work as a result.
I took a break from taking Intestinal Cleanse 2 yesterday and drank lots of water and miso soup which finally got things moving for me again in the afternoon.
The moral of the story is if you’re on a cleanse, don’t be a jerk and eat pizza and other garbage since it defeats the whole purpose.
You also need to make sure you drink plenty of water since you’re taking in so much Bentonite clay with Intestinal Cleanse 2.
I don’t want to have to take 20 Intestinal Cleanse 1 each day while cleansing and eating a light, healthy diet is key to minimizing how much Intestinal Cleanse 1 you need to take to stay regular whether you’re cleansing or not.
For the rest of the cleanse I’m going to take Intestinal Cleanse 1 at lunch and dinner while paying attention to how many movements I’m having each day.
If my eliminations decrease the next day I’m going to make sure I increase how much fiber I eat along with drinking more miso soup and taking more Intestinal Cleanse 1.
I also plan on continuing to take Intestinal Cleanse 2, 10 capsules 3 times a day, for the next few weeks as I start adding on other cleanse products like the Liver Cleanse.”
