Action and Function of Black Seed Oil:
Although Black Seed was originally used in the Middle East over 1400 years ago, it was not carefully researched until about forty years ago. Since that time, more than 200 studies have been conducted in universities all over the world. One such study, conducted at the Munich Institute for Research on Newer Therapeutic Methods, has confirmed by means of modern analytic methods that Black Seed oil contains over 100 active health-promoting substances and displays superior clinical effectiveness as a nutritional supplement.
Black Seed oil has a high concentration of essential linoleic and linolenic fatty acids which cannot be synthesized by our bodies and are necessary for optimal health.
It also contains thymoquinone (TQ), thymohydroquinone (THQ) and thymol, beneficial substances with a variety of uses, including antioxidant properties. Thymoquinone, one of the main active constituents found only in Black Seed Nigella sativa, supports healthy bronchial airways. Black Seed oil helps support the immune system and promotes a balanced immune response.

Freshly Cold-pressed and unrefined Virgin Black Cumin Seed oil, (Nigella Sativa) USDA Organic. 100% Pure Nigella Sativa is Loaded with Vitamins and valuable source of EFA's 3/6/9's and also contains two very powerful phytochemicals Nigellone and Thymoquinone along with other nutrients that work synergistically to support the body's various functions.

Suggested Use
Suggested Use: For adults, take one (1) teaspoonful (5ml) twice daily, preferably with a meal. Can be followed with a sip of juice or smoothie, or a spoonful of food. Traditionally was taken with a spoonful of honey.
Other ways to take Black Seed Oil - Mixed with olive oil to dilute the strong taste. Or mix into food like cottage cheese or humus, or in salad dressing, with meat or as a dipping sauce by itself or with other herbs and garlic.
The taste is hard for some to get used to. In that case, try Black Seed oil gel capsules to experience the benefits without the taste.
Black Seed oil can also be used beneficially on the skin and hair. An excellent oil for foot massage, or for warm oil treatment for hair.
When parasite-cleansing, may be taken internally and also applied to skin around the anus to stop night-time itching.
Precautions
Persons taking blood pressure medication or with low blood pressure should consult with a healthcare practitioner before taking Black Seed oil as it may cause blood pressure to become too low after taking it for some time.
Persons taking medications for diabetes or hypoglycemia should be cautious and monitor their blood sugar because it may cause blood sugar to go too low.
Stop using black seed at least two weeks before a scheduled surgery because Black Seed oil may increase risk of bleeding, and may lower blood sugar and blood pressure, potentially causing problems during anesthesia.
If pregnant, do not eat large amounts of Black Seed oil. Food amounts are considered probably safe, but larger medicinal amounts may slow down or stop uterine contractions.
