Open Your Eyes to a Healthier Life!

Blue Eyes Smiling Contrary to popular belief, our eyesight can be improved. Most doctors would have you believe otherwise, similar to the idea that I.Q. can't be raised or certain illnesses like diabetes can't be cured. These are false, but commonly accepted ideas. However, our health and healing is up to us; we can decide what makes sense for us and become informed about natural ways to live a healthy life.

There is a way to have healthier eyes. The herbal combination in Eyebright is powerfully effective for feeding the eyes vital nutrients needed for healthy eyesight.

Surprising Data About Eye Health & Vision

  1. Other than our brains, our eyes need more oxygen and blood circulation than any other organs in our body.
  2. Findings of a study on the affects of impotency drugs on men with a history of heart attack or high blood pressure showed they have 10 times more risk of optic nerve damage by taking those drugs. The drugs potentially reduce blood flow to the anterior optic nerve.
  3. Too much sugar in our diets will raise the risk of developing diabetes, cataracts, and glaucoma.
  4. Our eyesight is not static. When 20,000 school children had their eyes examined for a special medical study, the result was that more than half had normal eyes, with sight that was perfect at times. However, none of them had perfect sight in each eye at all times of the day. Their vision would vary from good to poor depending on the time of day.
  5. A certain amount of variability is also true for adults. Our eyesight changes from day to day, even from hour to hour. You don't have to accept we are just "getting old" and need glasses. We can do something about it to preserve and improve vision and eye health.

Eye Exercises to Improve Vision

In our high-tech age, we often stare at computer screens or TVs for endless hours. One visionary doctor suggests we make up for the eyestrain this causes by looking out at a distance for eight minutes, several times a day. Especially doing this before we sit down to our computers is important. Look at the shapes of clouds, the outlines of buildings; look for bird nests in trees or anything far away from you. By practicing this, your lenses regain their flexibility, and the eye muscles strengthen.

Natural Health Tip:

There is an old saying that says "You are what you eat."

The biggest health choice for every single person, healthy or not, is to adopt a way of eating that you can live with that is nourishing and doesn't overload the body with empty, processed, and altered food or toxic non-food chemicals.

What you leave out of your diet can be more important than what you put in. You must stop ingesting toxins into our body, and let the real foods can nourish effectively.

Herbs give specific nutrients for certain organs and stimulate or restore their activity. Herbs and nutritional supplements, even exercise, do a much better job when the body has a clean, nourishing diet high in fresh organic vegetables, seeds and fruits with little to no processed foods.

This is how you enable the natural healing power in your body to really work.

You can boost the results of anything you do for your health by eating plenty of fresh, organic or naturally raised, locally grown foods.

  • 3 beets, chopped
  • 1 small piece ginger root, sliced
  • 3-4 large cloves garlic
