Diet for Intense Healing

What causes a person's colon to become polluted is primarily the food choices made over the course of years and decades. A diet routinely comprised of thoroughly cooked food, processed food, high-fat food, excessive protein, sugar, coffee, soft drinks, etc., will cause a deficit in actual nutrition for the body and a colon severely degenerated in its ability to function. To prove this is actually the case, one only has to radically change the diet from the one described above to one consisting almost entirely of raw, fresh fruits and vegetables, nuts, seeds, freshly squeezed juices and some cooked grains. Within several weeks a person's bowels, which may have been moving only once every three days, will naturally move two or three times a day. An irritated bowel will settle down and function normally since it is no longer being required to handle a highly stressful diet. The wonderful observation here is that the body usually responds so quickly and well after so long a period of neglect and abuse.

The Intestinal Cleanse Program is most fundamentally a change in diet. Using Intestinal Cleanse Formula #1 and Intestinal Cleanse Formula #2 without heavy juicing, raw fruits and vegetables, etc., may produce results such as 2-3 bowel movements each day, improvements with female problems, male problems, better energy level and numerous other benefits, but the colon will still be largely uncleansed. The herbs will work as a great laxative, but used along with a polluting food program the bowel pockets, diverticuli, impacted fecal matter, fungal imbalances and poor tonal condition of the colon will not be greatly improved as they should be. Combine the herbal formulas with the correct diet change and now you will definitely see colon cleansing occurring!

Suggestion for the First 30 Days of Intensive Therapy

Breakfast - Nutritional Power Drink #1: (Be sure to wait 1/2 hour after taking your iFlora intestinal flora supplement before consuming any foods.) 8-16 ounces of freshly squeezed organic carrot, apple and parsley juice (or apple and grape juices for those who may prefer fruit juices in the morning) mixed with 4-8 ounces of distilled water and 1-2 heaping tablespoons of Vital Nutrition Plus. The differences in volumes given here depend on one's body size -- 140 pounds or less, use the smaller volumes; much over 140 pounds, use the larger volumes. For variations on this recipe, you can change the ratio of carrot juice to apple juice and add bananas, berries and other fruits -- 1/2 to 1 cup per batch mixed in a blender. If hunger strikes before lunch, eat fresh, juicy fruit.

Lunch - Nutritional Power Drink #2: 10 ounces of carrot juice; 3 ounces of beet and beet greens juice; 2 ounces of a combination of kale, Brussels sprouts, cabbage and cauliflower juice, one ounce of wheatgrass, four cloves of garlic and 2 heaping tablespoons of Vital Nutrition Plus. This makes about 16 ounces of juice, some of which can be preserved in canning jars if too much to drink all at once (see juicing tips). Along with the juice, one should have a large salad (see Colon Cleanse Diet Recipe Suggestions).

One tablespoon of Udo's Perfected Oil Blend can be sprinkled over the salad or blended in with the Nutritional Power Drink. Including this oil on a daily basis ensures you get the essential fatty acids needed while on the program. Include 1/2 to 1 level teaspoon of Celtic Sea Salt each day for electrolytes and other minerals.

Dinner - 8-16 ounces of Power Nutritional Drink #2, another large, green, leafy salad with generous amounts of red or yellow onions.

Vary the recipes used from day to day to keep interest up. Be careful of store-bought salad dressings. Check the labels and you will find that nearly all use canola oil. Make your own dressings using extra virgin, cold-pressed olive oil and apple cider vinegar or fresh lemon juice and salad dressing herbs like cloves of garlic, oregano, basil and parsley.

In addition to the juice and salad, if you must eat some "cooked comfort food", use cooked rice or other grains. Just be sure the quantity consumed here is not excessive, i.e., not more than 15-25% of the total food eaten for the day. Do not eat processed foods such as pasta, baked goods, food with sugar in it, meat, milk, peanut butter, cheeses, eggs or soy products. Restrict all cooked food to fresh vegetables and grains. Some nuts and seeds can be eaten but always in small amounts -- 1/3 of a cup or less at a time and soaked ahead of time.

The problem with cooked food is that much of its nutritive value is destroyed in the heating process. All enzymes are destroyed, about 83% of the vitamins, plus the heat changes many of the protein structures into a form that is very difficult to assimilate.

When raw fruit and vegetables juices are consumed, 92% of the nutrients are able to reach the cellular level. This is because the pulp has been removed and very little digestive energy is required. This is also true of Vital Nutrition Plus when consumed with adequate liquid intake. Juicing with Vital Nutrition Plus is the fastest way to nourish the cells and rebuild the immune system and essential body organs.

Do your colon cleanse by strictly adhering to a live food diet and you will definitely see "miraculous" benefits fastest!

The Rest of the Story

Now that the nutritional program and herbal cleanse steps are understood and well underway, it is time to go over other diet tools that should be used to make the overall program very powerful indeed!

Garlic

This magnificent herb is natural healing's single, biggest tool for getting results. It does so many different things at the same time. Garlic has 75 sulfur compounds which eliminate viral, fungal, and parasitical infections both internally and externally. Garlic is a great aid in building strength and energy levels. When the pyramids were built in Egypt, garlic was the one herb most heavily used in the diet of the laborers. Absolute minimum amount of garlic to consume daily is 2 bulbs (20 cloves) in order to begin to allow this herb to produce miracles. All the great success stories about garlic relate using 5 bulbs, 7 bulbs, and even 10 bulbs a day! You can put it through the juicer along with other ingredients, but the way to consume larger amounts of garlic is to peel the paper (skin) off, chop up all of the cloves into small pieces, then take up part of a teaspoon or a whole teaspoonful, put it in your mouth and swallow it all down with juice, potassium broth, tea or water. In this fashion, you can take down more than an entire bulb at one time. However, make sure you have plenty of liquid in your stomach at the same time or it can get mighty warm down there. If this does happen, drink lots of water quickly until the tummy ache is quenched. If significant use of garlic is out of the question, the next of kin is onions, or fresh ginger root used in comparable volume.

Cayenne Pepper

On the Incurables Program, you need to take three to six teaspoons of Cayenne Pepper Powder each day. Start with the most you can tolerate on everything you eat and in everything you drink. You can start with 1/4 teaspoon of powder in a hot cup of water to make a cayenne tea. As the days go by, you will find that your tolerance for greater amounts will increase as long as you push it each day.

Most frequent mistake?

Nearly all folks do not consume enough juice, etc., when they get into these programs. The viewpoint going in is that strictly raw food and juices is deprivation. "One will starve if this is all there is to eat" - drink more potassium broth with Vital Nutrition Plus in it, lots more! "Where's the beef?" - drink a massive amount of Nutritional Power Drink #1 or #2 recipe, as given above. "I feel I'm not getting enough protein; protein is very important" - true, read the description of Vital Nutrition Plus, then make sure to consume 1 gallon of a combination of Potassium Broth and the Nutritional Power Drinks each day, giving you a total of 12 to 16 tablespoons of Vital Nutrition Plus. There's enough assimilable protein here to fuel the efforts of an Olympic athlete. All that is really going on is that your body is coming off its addiction to the former poor food program. Adhere strictly to this raw food, juicing, whole food supplement program for two or three consecutive weeks and you will see for yourself a fantastic re-education of your body's "taste" for healthier food.

Tips on Juicing

Rare is the person who can make fresh squeezed juices each and every time they are hungry during the day on a liver or kidney cleanse. This could mean making a batch of fresh squeezed juice 5-8 times a day or more. If your lifestyle is such that you can juice as often as 8 times a day for 7 consecutive days, then it is best to do so. However, if this is not an option, then a close second best alternative has been found from the teaching of Rev. George Malkmus in his Hallelujah Diet materials.

Decide how much volume of juice you can usually drink at one time to be satisfied - 8 oz. or 16 oz. This is important. Next, go to a regular grocery store that sells canning jars made by Kerr. There are other companies like Ball who also make canning jars, and that will certainly work, but we prefer the ones made by Kerr, if available. Buy at least 2 cases (12 jars per case) of the size jar that is best for you to use - 8 oz. or 16 oz. The cost is usually around $6.00 a case.

Here is the trick: you get all your juicing materials lined up to provide at least 3 quarts of juice. As you make juice, fill up each jar to the very top so that no more can be added. The liquid will actually form a slight dome shape at the top of the jar. Next, hold the disk sealer just over the top of the jar and press down. Some juice should squirt down the side of the jar. This is good as it means there is minimal amount of air trapped in the jar with your juice. Now screw on the sealing ring so that the disk is securely in place. As soon as you complete your juicing project place all the jars of juice in your refrigerator. Take each one out as you need it. In this way fruit juices will keep almost as fresh as actually fresh squeezed for up to 5 days in the refrigerator, and vegetable juices last up to 3 days.

With this recommendation you can do all of your juicing needed to last an entire day or even 2 or 3 days. Warning! Be certain to make enough each time! If the supply is supposed to last one day, make at least 3 quarts (12 - 8 ounce jars or 6 - 16 ounce jars). When away from your home, you can put your jars of juice in a one handed cooler with blue ice (refreezable ice packs) in it to keep the juice cold.

IMPORTANT NOTE: once you open a jar of juice, you must drink all of its contents within a few minutes. The reason is that prolonged exposure to the air will destroy the enzymes in the juice. Within 20 minutes the enzymes are all oxidized. This is why you must use jars in a size that allows you to drink the juice quickly without having to wait to drink the rest later. You cannot get away with using store bought juice for the same reason – the enzymes are not present. Capturing the all important enzymes can only be done by juicing and drinking immediately, or by sealing the fresh squeezed juice in the canning jar with the above method.
